Crocheting a bag
At last, Shane’s feeling back to himself and we invited his friends over for some fun football theme food to celebrate his birthday. I made so much food, I also asked Chloe to invite her friends over for dinner as well. It was a tiring long day but seeing everyone enjoying the food and the company made everything worth it. So happy Shane is well! Thank you God for your love, grace and protection over Shane. May he love his God and seek his kingdom kingdom first above all else! Love you so much Shane. My sweet sweet boy! Happy 14th!!!!!
Part 2 of the experience room was coloring/drawing session for the visitors. We sat down on a table with bunch of crayons and papers and had fun being artists.

This gingerbread mansion took two days to make! I thought it would be a fun activity to do it with Chloe but she was NOT interested at all. So Shane stepped up (out of pity, I think) and helped me with it and we actually ended up staying up late last night and having so much fun while getting high in sugar. I say we make this mother & son tradition! What do you say kiddo?
I don’t know what got to me last night, but after I prep the turkey and prepared the menus for the big turkey day, I had this crazy idea to make new table mats and napkins, so I started sewing at 10pm and finished 1am. I can’t help when something triggers my creative juice to start flowing. I just know I must obey it. ;P
I make vacation collages on canvases and display them on the hallway walls. Every now and then, we stand here looking at photos reminiscing on our family trips and dreaming about going to places in the future…
This buffet table is my first and last Craig’s list purchase when we first bought this house and I needed to have a buffet table in the dinning room. I always meant to refinish it but haven’t done it until now. I sanded it down and painted to match the colors in the dining room. And here it is~
I made two roman shades for my studio windows and a window seat cushion using Caitlin Wilson’s tribeca fabric. Next I’m making window cornice for Shane room. Stay tuned!
