Chloe’s been off the charts with her reading and writing skills but her math hasn’t been strong last year so I introduced her to abakus this summer. I’m thankful that she’s willing to try anything that can help her. She’s awesome like that. 🙂 So far, she’s doing really great and finds it to be really fun.

Shane’s trying it as a fun since he loves math. This guy is always counting and calculating numbers in his head constantly.

This is how we wind down our summer days.

Today my work is taking me to a herb garden for an inspiration session and we got on this party bus to get there. Fun!

This weekend our church is hosting a Vacation Bible school and I happened to be one of the volunteers.

The children’s ministry team did a wonderful job transforming the place into the vast backcountry of Australia!

Afterwards Chloe helped me vacuuming the hallways. 🙂

Ugh. I had to taste all these fabulous food and drinks all evening and had to watch that fantastic show they put on. What a day… 😉

This is a stress-free business trip. I get to be a guest to my colleague’s event. The. Best.
