I’m super!

Friday, October 31st, 2008

So here’s Shane with his custom from June and Jae. Thanks guys for the outfit. Because of you, he’s a super! Chloe, however, woke up this morning at 6 o’clock and has been cranky all day and is refusing to put on her lady bug custom which also is from June. I’m trying to explain that we can get free candy but she’s not getting it. We’ll see how this goes…

anniversary gifts

Wednesday, October 29th, 2008

I rarely buy jewelries because, well, I can make them myself. On top of that, I’m a very picky shopper so Andrew gets really stressed out during the holidays and anniversaries. I always have told him I didn’t want anything (big mistake! ;)) so I never really gotten a real official gift from him. When we walked around west village on Sunday, I saw these two beautiful rings at Lori Mclean store and I really loved them. But I didn’t want to spend money…as always, so we just walked out of the store and went to dinner.
Then last night, Andrew surprised me with those rings. I love them!:) I especially love the fact that they are unique and handmade by a local designer.
The right picture is a gift I got for Andrew. It’s a compass cufflinks so he can always find his way home. 🙂 Made by RISD alumi.

seven years

Sunday, October 26th, 2008

Hard to believe we’ve been married for seven years already. Ah, how young and skinny we were… 😉
Thanks to my parents, we were able to ditch(?) the kids and go to the city for a few hours. It’s been a loooong time since we had a date night. I actually think it’s our first time since Chloe was born. Crazy! We wondered around west village reminiscing our past. It was a beautiful fall weather to walk around the city. Since we didn’t plan anything for tonight, we just randomly picked a restaurant that we passed by. The food and the conversations were absolutely delicious. Happy Anniversary to us!

Mohonk Mountain

Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008

Celebrating my parents’ 36th wedding anniversary, we took both kids to mountain Mohonk to see autumn’s firework. Too bad it was too cold for Shane to hangout outside, so we mostly enjoyed the beautiful scenery driving around.
