PRESENTS UNDER THE TREE
Tuesday, December 24th, 2019All the presents are wrapped and left under the tree. I think this year, Chloe’s really enjoying gift giving more than receiving. She had thoughtful gifts for everyone. So sweet…
PROJECT #2
Monday, December 23rd, 2019Made this skirt from the leftover fabric from the dress.
a dress for the concert
Saturday, October 19th, 2019When she couldn’t find a dress she wanted for the concert, I saw it as an opportunity to try to make her one. 🙂 With only three days away from the concert, I went to Jo-Ann, found a really pretty velvet fabric with rhinestones embedded and started sawing. Ta Da~ This is the second dress I made for her. (First one here) She really looks like a small lady here. My baby!
oktoberfest
Sunday, October 13th, 2019Today we have our town Oktoberfest and Chloe and her partner are hosting a booth at the fair. As part of the silver award project they started past summer, they are looking for art supply donations and volunteers for the Camp Sunshine/Snowflake.
Chloe gave a presentation in front of all the town GS troop leaders and parents a few weeks ago and I was blown away by how comfortable she presented her project in a public speaking setting. She stood in front of 25 + adults and she was very eloquent, and clear in getting her message crossed. I was beyond impressed!

Thursday, August 8th, 2019Shed Reno { Part 3 } – priming
Sunday, August 4th, 2019My handy man finished fixing the shed and now it’s time for us to prime and paint.
My thoughtful daughter put a piece of paper towel so she doesn’t splatter paint on my hair. 🙂
She says this is how I look when I paint.
She looks like she painted for hours… in reality she painted for an hour and I finish priming and painting most of it. By myself. Ahem.

Sunday, July 28th, 2019Shed Reno Progress – { Part 4 }
Friday, July 26th, 2019Chloe invited her friends to come and help with painting the shed.
It was a great idea!!!
For about an hour.
All of them left to go have lunch inside then never came back. I found myself painting all by myself.
It was just me and these ducks outside… sigh.
