After dinner, all FIVE kids stayed over for a sleepover tonight. That’s 7 kids in the house.

The littlest one saying goodbye to her mom…. I’m not sure who’s going to cry first…

Before bedtime, the girls read,

and boys played games….

They chatted until close to 11pm! I have no idea what they were talking about but they sure had a lot to say about something.

These (overexcited) kids woke me up at 6AM. I’m not even sure how long they’ve been up.

Right after breakfast we hurried off to church for a Sunday worship, followed by a memorial service… What a crazy busy fun (and sad) weekend we had.

Best part of it all is having friends you love over to share.

lemonade stands

DSC_3338

Kids have been begging me to set up a lemonade stand for weeks now so I ordered one from Etsy. It finally arrived just in time for the playdate with Lee & Wei’s family.

DSC_3340

DSC_3341

I asked the seller to leave the top blank so I can customized the sign.

DSC_3342

I was happy to find cute lemonade stand printables (exactly how I envisioned it) from here . Saved me so much time! I left the inside content area blank and laminated the sign and the menu so kids can use markers to write on it. They can also change the menu and reuse it in the future. 😉

Well well well, designer “super dad” Austin also handmade his lemonade stand and brought it over (to show off). It’s time for a throw down!!

Austin’s stand eventually served as a cocktail bar to adults.

We were blessed to take in this wonderful presentation. The music, the drama, the lighting and technical aspects of it were top notch. From the first note to the last, we were enthralled by the story that unfolded of the life of Moses. We sat in the isle seats where live animals often walked by and actors also performed all around us. The whole stage affects were just amazing.

At the end of the show, I was ready to give my standing ovation to the actors, but they never came out after curtains went down. I was confused and my friend told me it’s because their performance was for the Glory of God alone… that they didn’t want to be praised…that… is truly a testimony of christian faith.

All I can say was wow….I left the theatre feeling truly truely blessed.
