our last night in Scottsdale

Saturday, April 27th, 2019

I can’t believe how time flew by so quickly and it’s already our last night together. I am so thankful that all of us were able to carve out time out of our busy lives to spend a quality time together. What an amazing trip this was! A big shout out to Julie and Kimberly for planning the trip and making us an itinerary. I LOVE vacations I don’t have to plan! !
My face got so much exercise this weekend from so much laughter and from all those food I chewed! Love you guys~~

As much as I was tempted, I’ve had this many times before (and they were really good) but I was still feeling too stuffed from the breakfast.

I flew to Scottsdale AZ this morning for a girls trip celebrating my friend getting married next month.

Two of our friends flew here a day prior and arranged for little gift bags for all of us, including this itinerary  🙂

party planners!

They also prepared  for in-room cocktail hour.

After lunch, we headed to the pool to enjoy the hot Arizona sun.

Bride to be!

happy easter!

We made it!

Stopped by Andrew’s Dady’s grave yard afterwards.

We picked up my parents from their church and went to have lunch afterwards.

get us home!

Saturday, April 20th, 2019

When the customer service at AA told us that our only option to get as closest as possible to our home TODAY was flying to Philly at 5pm from Charlotte, we thought that was it. Except me. I thought there has to be another way. I needed to find a different option. I kept praying and searching online for a better option. Tomorrow is Easter Sunday and I wanted to go home today and be at church tomorrow! Miraculously I don’t know how, I was able to find availabilities on 7pm flight to Newark on AA. I showed it to a customer service person and he was like, “oh, ok. you can do that”
So that’s how we got home and I got a MVP award from my family.

We had a long layover at Charlotte so we used priority lounge to rest.

Thank you God for watching over us and getting us home safely tonight!
