Thank you Dine’s family for getting us together! I brought 2 dozen Maryland style blue crabs I ordered from Cameron’s Seafood to add to the feast. Everything was super delicious and we had so much fun!
I haven’t packed lunches for kids for a year now, I think. This morning was crazy because I left the house to drive Chloe to her high school at 7 am and on the way there, I got a call from Shane asking where his lunch was. OOPS!!! I completely forgot he has a full day today!!! So Shane managed to make himself chicken nuggets…. only he forgot to bring it with him when Andrew drove him to school at 7:30am. I came home and made him his favorite Mentaiko pasta and packed along with his nuggets and dropped it off at school. Phew, is today over yet?!
Chloe’s a freshman in High school and Shane’s a 7th grader! What?! When did this happen?? Two kids, going to two different schools, in two different towns!!
Such a fun outing! We enjoyed a beautiful night filled with the songs and history of Edith Piaff & Josephine Baker, performed by Broadway star Ciara Renee.
Afterwards we walked around the city and stopped by a candy store for my kids and our hubbies.
Wife, Mother, jewelry designer & graphic designer /Creative Director, I am HaeWon Cadence Ryu. This is a glimpse into my life’s blessings, passion and inspiration.
This blog came to fruition after I began motherhood; I wanted to be able to capture every millestone of my two beautiful children - Chloe & Shane as they journey through their early years. Since the launch of my online jewelry site, cadencelee.com, I’ve come face-to-face with having to juggle multiple roles. As a result, I have decided to feature some of my designs and inspiration alongside postings of my precious family. For me, this is the perfect medium of work-life balance.
