We decided to extend our stay for another day to explore the city as we barely had any time after the college tours. Chloe and I did a morning walk to the monuments before breakfast and we plan to enjoy the pretty city of Georgetown in the afternoon!
My cousin treated us for an unforgettable meal at 1789 restaurant in Georgetown. He’s a good friends with the chef and he brought a few complimentary dishes and all the dessert on the menu! Wow, they really fed us so well! We barely had time to eat lunch between the tours and this was such a treat for us. Thank you Tony & Suna!!!
We’re taking a road trip #2 to tour colleges around D.C. area. It took us 4.5 hrs to drive to Bethesda, MD for lunch then to start the tour at American University.
I drove to the city with Chloe and her friends so the boys could help me with my dress form transportation. 😉
MOMA with AMy
My best friends from my NYC days return to visit and I got to catch up with them. Doesn’t matter how long it’s been with these two, we pick up right where we left off. Missed you two so much! And they can still drink! While I was sipping hot water with lemon, they were drinking dirty martinis! You guys are still cooler than me.
The most expensive cotton candy ($10) and a Starbucks drink ($9) !!!!
It was a short trip but felt like we did so much and ate so much! What a great time we had and God gave us double rainbows when we returned. Can’t wait to see Andrew and Miles at home!!
Wife, Mother, jewelry designer & graphic designer /Creative Director, I am HaeWon Cadence Ryu. This is a glimpse into my life’s blessings, passion and inspiration.
This blog came to fruition after I began motherhood; I wanted to be able to capture every millestone of my two beautiful children - Chloe & Shane as they journey through their early years. Since the launch of my online jewelry site, cadencelee.com, I’ve come face-to-face with having to juggle multiple roles. As a result, I have decided to feature some of my designs and inspiration alongside postings of my precious family. For me, this is the perfect medium of work-life balance.
