Lunch

Monday, July 4th, 2022

My travel buddy Chloe and I stayed in the old town to explore more, while the boys went back to the hotel because it was too hot. Chloe and I had the most delicious lunch at Lucin Kantun,

while Shane and Andrew got a room service. Weak.

SUNSET

Sunday, July 3rd, 2022

I came out to my terrace with my book to wind down for the day…. I could hear the live jazz music coming from the hotel outdoor lounge next to us, and I’m enjoying the music with this beautiful sunset… What a lovely evening… I think I’ll remember this moment for the rest of my life.

DINNER

Sunday, July 3rd, 2022

I don’t remember the name of the restaurant. It’s was somewhere local and casual that was walking distance the concierge recommended and the food was so good. We were all just picking at each other’s plates because everything was really delicious and fresh! In fact, we haven’t eaten anything that wasn’t good here in Croatia!

INFINITY POOLS & THE BEACH

Sunday, July 3rd, 2022

As soon as we settled our stuffs in the rooms we jumped into the pools and checked out the beach. It was a quite the work out going up and down the steep stairs to the beach but once you’re down there, the water was beautiful, just the right temperature and there was also a cave to explore. It’s also fun to watch people jumping off the cliffs!

VILLA ORABELLE

MAKING FRIENDS

Sunday, July 3rd, 2022

We enjoyed this 3 hour drive to Dubrovik not just because the scenic was so beautiful but also because our driver named Buddy was so knowledgeable about Croatia’s culture, history and the current issues we learned so much about his country. I could tell he is really proud of his land and loves living here. He also shared us about his family and how he grew up, we just enjoyed talking with him the whole ride. Andrew, who initially was sitting in the back of the van, actually moved up to the front passenger side so he could talk to closely. He seemed like such a hard working, honest young man and towards the end of the conversations, Andrew was even giving him financial “advices” too. 🙂 It was so nice meeting you Buddy!

Mali Stone Bay

Sunday, July 3rd, 2022

Our driver asked us if we wanted to stop by to taste the freshest oysters from this lady that sells on the side of the high way in Mali Stone bay. Yes please! They were so delicate and fresh and the cherry on the top was the price. They were a dollar each!! When I ordered and finished 2 dozens myself, they were laughing at me. I didn’t tell them I could more. 😉
