It felt sooooo good to have Shane back!!! Honestly, the last few days I was getting really antsy, nervous and just missed him so so much. Now we are together again! It seems like he had a great experience at Deerfoot Camp! Very rustic and rougher than what we expected with no running toilets and shower and all, but he had fun, made friends, learned how to build fire by hand, enjoyed fishing for the first time, and winning a lot of awards to name a few! But most importantly he said he felt the Holy Spirit in his heart when he was praising and that’s all I needed to hear. Thank you God for answering my prayers!!
What would I have done if I didn’t have Chloe?!! She is the best travel buddy, best person to just walk ~8 miles exploring everything if we feel like it! We managed to walk everywhere in the city without any transportation, literally all day.
Chloe and I are in the city today to meet with my long time best friend visiting from Hong Kong! It was so good to see this girl who I missed so much! Afterwards Chloe ran into her close friends from school and we ended up having coffee with them and their mom. THEN, I also ran into my ex-coworker from back in the day in SOHO! What an unexpected today turned out to be! In the best way!
God gifted us with yet another beautiful sunset for our last night. We enjoyed walking the beautifully landscaped promenade by the sea in the bay of Lapad.
We celebrated our last night in Croatia at this popular pizza joint called Papillon Pizzeria in Lapad neighborhood. We enjoyed walking around and really bonded with kids during the walk. The best part of this vacation, I have to say is the spending quality time with kids and each other. We’ve had so much time, just catching up on every detail of our lives… I’m going to really treasure every moment we had in this beautiful place.
While boys wanted to stay cool in the hotel, Chloe and I walked to Old town in the heat. It was hot but we managed to walk around and had a very nice day just the two of us. She is the best travel buddy!!
