Saturday, November 19th, 2022LAST DAY IN PARIS
Sunday, November 13th, 2022We spent our last afternoon walking around everywhere our feet took us. We even got to catch up with my old friend from my Symrise days and it was so lovely to see her and her family!
Paris~, you are so beautiful and we need to see you again sooner than later!
PINK MAMA
Saturday, November 12th, 2022We didn’t get so lucky with this restaurant in terms of waiting. I heard so much hype about this place and wanted to try it but it was impossible to make a reservation. So we waited in line for about an hour to get a table.
Was it worth it? Absolutely! – Said Chloe.
And the restaurant is stunning!
Montmartre
Saturday, November 12th, 2022I really wanted to bring Chloe to Montmartre, which is one of my favorite places to visit in Paris. I love its charming cobbled streets, stunning Basilica, cute unique boutiques and bistros perched on the top of a small hill in the 18th arrondissement. The first time I came here by myself, I just fell in love with its charm and feels like every little corners of streets have so much history.
Right in the middle of the Montmartre district of Paris, is Le Consulat café which was visited by many of the acclaimed artists, writers and painters in the 19th century, including Picasso, Sisley, Van Gogh, Toulouse-Lautrec and Monet to name but a few.
ANOTHER TERRACE MOMENT!
Saturday, November 12th, 2022Today’s temperature was nearly in the 60?s so we needed to come back to the hotel to change to a lighter close before our next destination.
Breakfast @Carette
Saturday, November 12th, 2022Chloe wanted to try hot chlocolate from this cafe and that’s how I planned this morning around this location. So we walked over just a few steps from where we took pictures, and once again beat the crowd by getting here early enough and waited just a few minutes to get a table. (apparently there’s a line for everything in Paris!) I got a giant croissant and a very delicious latte and OMG I finally had my croissant fix in Paris. And Chloe was very happy with her hot chocolate and homemade baguette with ham & cheese. Yum yum yum!
TOUR Eiffle
Saturday, November 12th, 2022This morning I bought 10 Métro tickets for the day and our first destination took us to Trocadero for the view of Eiffle tower. What I had not known was that the sun was coming up from behind the tower which made it tricky to take pictures with my DSL camera. But we managed it fine with our iPhones and asking a fellow tourist to take photos for us.
