So thankful for this gorgeous spring weather so we can have a garden brunch for Mother’s Day. I feel so lucky and blessed to have my parents living with us, other wise this wouldn’t have been possible to get together on Mother’s Day.
I put on a make up and got dressed for a change and it felt like a normal Mother’s day.
Happy Mother’s Day, everyone!
Andrew and Shane made me breakfast this morning! Andrew kept saying it was the best eggs ever.
Behind the scene:
I snuck in from the back to see what was going on.
Found this avocado fail. Apparently the boys wanted to use this avocado for my toast and this is how they cut it… Can’t make this stuff up!
Shane also left this for my mom in her room. So sweet.
Sunlights began to lingering longer, inviting the kids to play outside after dinner.
My mom and I went for a walk too.
I’ve been cooking A LOT since the quarantine started and it’s our first time getting Chinese take out in… I don’t even remember.
NJ has opened its State parks today so we thought we would check out the world outside of the house. The park we went was crowded with many people not wearing their masks and practicing social distance. We didn’t stay long because despite the beautiful weather, we didn’t enjoy being out with too many people nearby. This new world feels intimidating…
He took off his mask right before getting in the car to give me his best smile. When would we be able to walk around normal, mask free? 🙁
Shane decided he would sleep in Chloe’ hanging chair tonight. Yeah, that lasted an hour before Chloe kicked him out.
Everynight @8:30 pm
My mom is making Kimchi today! And guess who helped with the prep?
My dad and Shane peeled all the garlic that went into the kimchi. Love.
