My MIL’s Belated Mother’s Day lunch in Pal Park.
Shane came down with the flu last week and had fever for 5 days and he also shared it with me. I originally had planned on having my MIL over and cooking but I just started to function normal again so I couldn’t… Instead, after church we went to Nyack in the afternoon and picked up sushi for dinner.
It takes a lot of pleading to kids to dress up and sit with me for photos and asking Andrew to shoot. And the photoshoot took less than 10 min.
Shane got the flu and he shared it with me… Poor thing, he had fever for 4 days. 🙁 I just felt extremely exhausted and slept forever for the last couple of days.
Until we meet again!
My Aunt from California and my cousin Tony and his fiancé from VA are visiting us this weekend. SO So happy to see them again after so many years!!
Move over avocado, my new favorite cauliflower toast is my new obsession and kids love it too!
I convinced my family to take me for a drive to Mitsuwa so I can make some Japanese food I’ve been craving.
sWe met up with my friend’s family and we enjoyed skiing on the fresh snow. Slope condition was good but it was still super cold, and icy even with snow. I don’t know if it was the 3 hours of driving or the cold, but I was feeling too tired towards the mid-afternoon and I was just thinking I should call it a day. Then next thing I remember is hitting my head on the ground… I have no idea how I fell.
I was taken down on a sledge by a ski patrol, straight to first aid where they took very good care of me and checked me out. Apparently I had a concussion. Oh well.
Thank God my friends were there! They took care of everything, and even drove us home safely.
