Happy Halloween!

Wednesday, October 31st, 2018

We had some friends over so I prepared treats for them before heading down the street to trick or treat.

Shane’s a bush and Chloe’s a sports fan! I made Shane’s bush “outfit” with chicken wire and leaves and it came out pretty well. 🙂

This is my favorite! Lol!

10 things about my sweet Shane:
1. He is 4’8″ tall and weighs 63 lbs.
2. He loves to play fortnite and can do floss dance like no other.
3. He plays guitar and also just started to learn saxophone.
4. He loves to read just like his sister. His current favorite books are Warriors Cats Series, which he read 34 out of 36 books of them so far.
5. His school homework goal is not to forget to hand them in.
6. He loves to play soccer and basketball.
7. He is two levels away from achieving black belt in Taekwando but he  hates it.
8. He still likes to cuddle with me in the morning before getting up…which I know is not going to last and is the moments like these I treasure.
9. His favorite food is ramen and his least favorite is brussel sprouts.
10. He is a sweet, smart and courteous 10 years old boy who gives us so much happiness and joy each day.

Shane, it’s a privilege and gift to be your mom and I am so proud of you everyday. Happiest birthday to my son! I love you so much~~

Happy birthday to my son!

Friday, September 21st, 2018

My mom made us birthday breakfast : Seaweed soup with rice and some vegetable dishes

Tonight we celebrated his birthday with a bonfire, smores, and cakes in the backyard porch.

He wanted ramen for late night snack. His favorite food on earth that he’s not allowed to have…except for  special occasions such as tonight…;P

Special treat by Chloe

Sunday, September 2nd, 2018

Chloe announced that she’s going to cooked for us this weekend and  she worked on a menu, jotting down a list of grocery list.

She wanted me out of the kitchen and out of her way, so she could do everything on her own. But she needed help so she hired a sous-chef named Andrew. 😉

They were working hard when I came back to the kitchen after being gone shopping with my mom.

My mom looking so amused.

Chloe said this was her invention, her own recipe. It was really really good!

She gave a very good introductory about her food,

then she bowed,

said Grace,

and served her food to everyone. Bravo!

Holiday Cooking & Gathering

Friday, December 29th, 2017

I’ve been cooking a lot this week to make up for last few weeks of eating poorly. I need to beef up my kids! The last two weeks, our schedules have been so crazy, I did a lot of ordering food and buying prepared food on the go in-between kids activities.

This weeks specials including: Korean Short Rib

Truffle butter pasta

French Toast

Butternut squash salad

We also hosted last min, pot luck to get together with friends.

Tried making French onion burgers for the first time and it was pretty good!
