Today I realized we ran out of Miles puppy meal and I had to cook something up. I made turkey, with carrots, peas and spinach brown rice and he loved it. A clean bowl in seconds.

I created a huge pathway for Miles to run in the snow… … after spending over 2 hours I realized it was a fail. He just hopped right on to the surface and because he’s so light, he didn’t dip down to the foot of snow like us. Oh well. I tried…

He went all the way in the middle of lawn (where I couldn’t go because I would literally dip down to my knee)  to do his business. I feel like he did that on purpose.

Miles had his regular check up today. We are upto date on vaccines.

Happy birthday to me. It was a quiet day… we got hit with snow storm and we played in the snow with Miles. Chloe and I baked a banana cake with cream cheese frosting. I made it not too sweet, just perfect for my taste.

• 4 large ripe bananas (about 1and 1/2 cups mashed)
• 3 cups (375g) all-purpose flour 
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3/4 cup (170g) unsalted butter, 
• 1/4 granulated sugar
• 3 large eggs, at room temperature
• 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
• 1 and 1/2 cups (360ml) buttermilk, at room temperature

This guy loves me so much!
