shopping day

Friday, March 23rd, 2012

I took my mom to my annual bead show in NYC today. Every time I come here I discover new stones and find inspiration.

Afterwards, we visited the farmer’s market in Union Square and of course, did some more shopping.

fun projects

Monday, January 30th, 2012

As intense as these installation projects are which involve working long hours and being away from my family, I have to say I do enjoy doing them.

When you walk in, you’ll forget that you’re inside of a hotel room…

It’s a shame though I didn’t get to use this amazing pool. Maybe tomorrow…

fall in love

Sunday, November 13th, 2011

We love this Japanese maple tree! It’s probably our favorite tree that we have.

Love all the colors around the house this time of the year!

I got a very nice email from The Divine Minimalist letting me know that they have featured my jewelry on their blog! They have compiled a list of beautiful pretty things and mine was one of them. See the full post here.

{A big thanks to Betsy and Mollika for the super kind words about Cadence Lee!}

day with chloe

Saturday, April 23rd, 2011

I took Chloe for a shopping/errand day in the city. I had appointments with vendors all morning and had to buy more merchandise for my jewelry biz.

When we walked through Time square, she said, “this is a crazy city!”

Chloe, waiting so patiently, coloring during my shopping.

Late lunch at 2. She finished the whole bowl of pork chops. Then she said with a sweet smile, “I told you I was hungry.”

Chloe was such a sweet angel today. She walked a lot without any complains, waited patiently during my meetings, and was a good sport. What a trooper!

rainbow

Tuesday, April 5th, 2011

On my way home, from picking up the kids at school, Chloe spotted a rainbow. It was so beautiful and really vivid. Looking down from the top of our street, it almost looked like it was coming from our house!

Rainbow reminds me of God’s promise and His faithfulness. 🙂

business trip, west palm

Monday, February 28th, 2011

Before I entered into the dark hole (work) I took an early walk on the beach this morning. I arrived here bright and early yesterday which means I was already sleep deprived, but I know how busy I was about to get so I’m here. Getting my priority straight.

There were so many jellyfishes on the beach. Pretty.

*Let the record show that this was the last time I saw sunlights during this trip. Lame.*

bling baby

Saturday, February 26th, 2011

Another baby shower. done.

It was all girls baby shower, so I took Chloe with me.

She loves to read books as you can see.

I had the joy of meeting Amy and Terrence’s new baby, Andrew. How precious…

I found my wedding gifts to them on the walls of their new fancy brooklyn apartment.

Congratulations, Jenn and Rich!

last day

Saturday, January 29th, 2011

got up at 6 a.m. (even though I had all the space in the large bed to spread out, I stuffed my sides with pillows to fall asleep. I actually missed my munchkins pushing and shoving next to me in bed…)

went to the Mac Expo,

and stopped by China town for late lunch.

lunch at 5 pm.

I met up with my nephew and niece for the first time this evening!

we took a BART to downtown Berkeley to see my cousin perform.

The band sounded really great! They play what’s known as raggae fusion music, sort of funky and cool.

What an amazing trip I had… I was so happy to see my cousin and her beautiful family during my visit to S.F. Thank you for making this trip so special. And see you in Cabo!~~
