Monday, June 1st, 2015showered with gifts
Sunday, May 10th, 2015Shane couldn’t wait till Sunday to give me his gifts. Drawing of me by Shane.
So my kids still come to our bed in the early morning and we all wake up from the same bed. Chloe not so much any more but this morning, she was sleeping next to me and on my other side, there was Shane. It was 6 a.m. and I was lying down contemplating whether I should go to a yoga class before church when I felt Chloe quietly getting up and I saw her leaving the room. Then a few seconds later, Andrew got up and left, followed by Shane. It was funny to see how they were going out one by one tip toeing across the room.
I’m guessing Andrew was in charge of the eggs…yes those are eggs…deliciously burnt outside but runny in the inside.
I knew it was this sweet face’s idea to get me a breakfast in bed.
Also at 6:20 a.m.
She also had piles of cards and gifts that she worked on all week.
I laughed when I saw that beer box. Oh Andrew… you couldn’t find her a different box? lol
I was very impressed that she created “A mother’s day monopoly game” for us to play. It was super detailed and really well thought out. So special!
Shane also made me a flower shaped pottery dish.
I’m the luckiest!!!

relaxing time
Friday, April 24th, 2015Chloe is always the first one on the balcony in the moring reading. She can’t seem to stop reading her new book series called, “The Lost Hero”. She finished the first book in 3 days and rereading it for the second time.
After swimming in the morning, we came back to our room for some relaxing time out of the sun.
bambarra beach
Thursday, April 23rd, 2015Our next stop is the secluded beach called Bambarra. Once again we were the only people on the beach.
Kids and I snorkeled here. We didn’t see any fish but we found beautiful sea shells and corals.
I went all the way about a quarter of a mile out and the water only came below my waist. I felt like I was standing in the middle of the ocean. Shane was the reason I didn’t go further. He was worried about me and kept shouted, “Mommy, come back! Mommy come back!” Sweet son, looking out for his mommy. 🙂
secrete beach cave
Thursday, April 23rd, 2015We walked all the way up the giant rocks leading to a path made of coral and limestone revealing the most panoramic views and a stairway down into the open coral cave.
We stood here holding hands with kids looking out the ocean for a while. We were the only people on this beach… When the wave crashed into the rocks, it sounded like a rolling thunder. Staring at this awe-inspiring beauty…I naturally praised God…
“Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns.” – Revelatinos 19:6
We shouted, “we love you, Jesus” when the waves crashed into the rocks. A moment I will always remember and hope that kids will too.
