Today, Andrew went golfing and my parents are using my car (yes. they arrived this week!) so I’m home with kids without a car. So we decided to walk to our town library which took us about 40 min. to get there. When we got there kid picked out a few books and cooled off, reading for over an hour. Then we stopped by a gas station to buy gum and walked back home. We talked about how when I was in elementary and middle school in Korea, I used to always walked to school every day. Haha, something that sounded so foreign to them. 🙂

I made them a cool lemonade and they read some more on the porch. What a lovely day it was!

I cut some flowers from my garden, found a branch and voila!
Super easy to put together and makes a beautiful backdrop.

We’re staying in this prison-turned-hotel during our stay in Boston.

“This architectural gem on the edge of Boston’s Beacon Hill neighborhood was built from local granite in 1851, and served as the Charles Street Jail until 1990; Malcom X once did time here, too.”DSC_4713

Date with Chloe

I had such a lovely day with my girl Chloe in the city today. She’s a great partner to just walk the New York streets with no particular goal and we had so many fun and meaningful conversations. IMG_2072 copy

For lunch, I took her to Lady Mendel’s and had  a five course high tea. IMG_2075

What a charming place to spend time with my girl. I love that we can make these special memories and knowing how appreciative and thankful she is makes these kinds of moments even more special. What a blessing…

Happy weekend!

I’m getting ready to host a dinner party tomorrow. When I’m planning a party the first thing I do is buy fresh flowers and set the tables. Nothing transforms the room and gets me in the mood for party like beautiful floral arrangements.
