Ready for the little lady guests to arrive…
This Sunday my girl Chloe is turning double digits! Chloe’s not a big fan of birthday parties so we were thinking about taking a weekend trip to a water park for the weekend. But just a couple of weeks ago, Chloe told me she would instead, like to invite a few friends and celebrate it at home. So I jumped for joy, got my party hat on and we thought of a theme together. We are going to have a “Alice in Wonderland” tea party. 🙂
For the activity, I’m having the girls draw and decorate their own porcelain mugs to take home.
Decorations for the party is all set.
Halloween Night
Children crying, grownups double locking doors, lights flickering. Why is this? Because on one night a horrible storm came on a halloween night. Lightening stuck the ground a graveyard complete with a haunted castle appeared with bone chilling laughter! Inside, the most terrible witch was brewing potions. She had coarse greasy hair, murky green eyes, a chubby body and hair allover and warts. Her name is Fuzzy Wumps (Scary music in the background) Fuzzy Wumps has a deadly secret. She is terribly afraid of the Monster Mash! (there’s a little guy dancing illustration 😉
Every year all monsters assemble and do the monster mash. It’s terrifying if you hear the music you’ll understand. If you see the dance, you will… (no one has ever experienced it so the world may never know!) Fuzzy Wumps is currently hiding. Never come near the Monster Mash!
I attended AIGA Design Conference here in Vegas.
After 4 days of symposiums, Workshops, Exhibitions and Design fairs, I felt like my brain was about the explode with so much informations! It was exciting, inspiring, and motivating to hear from the design icons and legends in the industry as well as from the young(er) emerging designers with their perspectives. The line up of the speakers were just so amazing! I came out feeling very proud to be one of the designers in this day and age.
