Silver Award ceremony took place at our town park, all wearing masks. Chloe spent 50 hours completing her silver award project working with Camp Sunshine – a summer recreational program for disabled children and young adults. CONGRATULATIONS, Chloe!! So Proud of you!
So thankful for this gorgeous spring weather so we can have a garden brunch for Mother’s Day. I feel so lucky and blessed to have my parents living with us, other wise this wouldn’t have been possible to get together on Mother’s Day. I put on a make up and got dressed for a change and it felt like a normal Mother’s day. Happy Mother’s Day, everyone!
I’m finding quiet mornings to do my daily devotions now that everyone has pretty much settled into their own regular routines at home. I have 7 am prayer time with my Bible study friends then after making everyone breakfast, I have breakfast alone while watching/listening to my old pastors daily video sermons. So blessed to have these accesses! Thank you Pastor Will & Pastor Josh for your dedication and sharing your wisdom every morning!
I wanted to capture my 13 year old Chloe in my illustration. I asked her to put on her staple clothes and I took some pictures while she skateboarded, a hobby that she’s really into at the moment. Her current statement outfit is an oversized hoodie, Addias shorts, nike socks and Vans sneakers.
We enjoyed a great hiking trail in the heart of nature at The Domaine Saint Bernard. It was brutally cold so whenever I took off my gloves to take pictures, my hands felt freezing immediately and ached. It was cold!
Today we decided to take a break from being on the mountain, (Because the forecast says it’s -20?) and explore this charming picturesque pedestrian village. We rode the standing gondola from the town to enjoy the view from high up.
Wife, Mother, jewelry designer & graphic designer /Creative Director, I am HaeWon Cadence Ryu. This is a glimpse into my life’s blessings, passion and inspiration.
This blog came to fruition after I began motherhood; I wanted to be able to capture every millestone of my two beautiful children - Chloe & Shane as they journey through their early years. Since the launch of my online jewelry site, cadencelee.com, I’ve come face-to-face with having to juggle multiple roles. As a result, I have decided to feature some of my designs and inspiration alongside postings of my precious family. For me, this is the perfect medium of work-life balance.
