It’s been difficult getting enough food regularly from grocery stores as we continue to quarantine. So I ordered bread from Hudson bread online and they delivered it today. I’ve never been so happy to see so much carbs!
All the presents are wrapped and left under the tree. I think this year, Chloe’s really enjoying gift giving more than receiving. She had thoughtful gifts for everyone. So sweet…
When she couldn’t find a dress she wanted for the concert, I saw it as an opportunity to try to make her one. 🙂 With only three days away from the concert, I went to Jo-Ann, found a really pretty velvet fabric with rhinestones embedded and started sawing. Ta Da~ This is the second dress I made for her. (First one here) She really looks like a small lady here. My baby!
I’ve been working on upgrading our dining room since last November and it’s coming along nicely. After installing this gorgeous dark floral wallpaper from Ellie Cashman which I’m absolutely still in love with, I purchased a new Sanger chandelier from Aerin and got new set of chairs from One Kings Lane which was a lot of work to put together.
After those purchases, I had to save money somewhere so I made the drapery by learning from youtube tutorials on how to make French-pleat drapery. It was not an easy task and nowhere perfect but I’m happy with how they turned out. 🙂 More updates to come…
Wife, Mother, jewelry designer & graphic designer /Creative Director, I am HaeWon Cadence Ryu. This is a glimpse into my life’s blessings, passion and inspiration.
This blog came to fruition after I began motherhood; I wanted to be able to capture every millestone of my two beautiful children - Chloe & Shane as they journey through their early years. Since the launch of my online jewelry site, cadencelee.com, I’ve come face-to-face with having to juggle multiple roles. As a result, I have decided to feature some of my designs and inspiration alongside postings of my precious family. For me, this is the perfect medium of work-life balance.
