Chloe loves to smell scents. We covered most of the personal care products stores, perfume and candle stores in SOHO adding some clothing shopping in-between, of course
We had some time left to walk around NYU area so we stopped at Washington SQ Park.
We had about an hour or so before our next stop, and Shane was getting restless, so we stopped for a coffee break at a cafe on McDougal st where my small latte was 6 bucks… Then when turned a corner on Broadway, we spotted Sour Patch Kids store…
I let him get whatever he wanted not realizing he would scoop out 50lbs worth of candies… This made him happy more than anything today.
My mom and I got to spend a fun afternoon furniture shopping, then had the delicious meal at Faubourg in Montclair. The funny thing is I’m also meeting my friends here again tomorrow night. Haha I’m not mad about it!
@ Crosby Street Hotel
After this we went all over soho shopping. When I say “we”, I meant Ms. Chloe. 😉
I got mine in ombre pastel rainbow colors and
Chloe wanted to get acrylic nails forever and she finally let her get them.
I found a perfect gift for Andrew from Miles.;)
And I’m working on remodeling Andrew’s office so I got some barware to put in his space. Stay tuned for the final reveal in few weeks!
We spent a beautiful morning at the Holland Ridge tulip farm! My friend and I are on our way to a funeral, (a good friend of ours’ father passed away last week) so we drove 1.5 hrs drive south and while I was looking for a place to lunch, I came across this farm and we ended up having a such wonderful time wondering around rows and rows of vibrant color tulips and doing some fun photo shoots. You can say that we are settling into the spring of things.
Chloe wanted to buy old vintage books so I found a perfect bookstore in Nyack! And we got to enjoy some great Jazz band performance while walking around the town.
Normally what I prefer and ask for my birthday is an experience like a short family weekend trip, a musical or just hang out in NYC with my family but since we are still in pandemic, we can really do any of that… so this will have to do for now… 😉
