Today I took my kids and my parents to the pop-up Museum of Ice Cream in the heart of the Meatpacking District with a lick-able, likeable, shareable ice cream-centric experience!

First, we were greeted with a flavor-of-the-week, boysenberry ice cream. Delicious!

What a fun Sweet experience!

My mom, Chloe and I went to the city this afternoon for some furniture shopping and dinner on this hot steamy summer day.

We had dinner at Republic, one of our favorite noodle place. 

Then we went to Eataly for yummy gelato and bought some bread and fresh pasta noodles to bring home. Along the way, we made a quick stop at its Wine and Cheese bar which was so delicious and perfect end to our day.

They also planted flower seeds in the backyard.

Good morning Steamboat!

Kids are starting a 5 day ski school and we are also starting the first day of our ski/snowboarding lesson today. Can’t wait to see more of the mountain!

First day of skiing…we thought we’ve seen some great trails today only to find out that we’ve only been to the bottom third of the mountain.

We got to check out Downtown Steamboat late afternoon.

Kids came to our bed, oh I don’t know like 5 or something… but we stayed in the bed until 7am and went downstairs to open the presents.

Chloe turned 9 yesterday and instead of having a party with her friends, she wanted a day with me in the city. She’s SO my daughter!

Her wish granted, I planned a fabulous day planned for us!

First stop! A fabulous lunch at the Carlyle.

Foie gras for appetizer,

Roasted chicken for her

Seafood salad for me.

Second stop: Laurée for some fabulous macarons!

Then we spent a good few hours at American Girl Place!

All that shopping calls for some hot coco.

Then for dinner, the boys came to join us at Uncorked.

What a fabulous day with my fabulous sweet girl Chloe! Happy birthday my Chloe~~
