After work, I had a pleasure of meet up with my good friend from the past. We just sort of lost touch for a while, being busy with life. So after me having two kids, and her getting married and moving out to SF… Â here we are again just like the old days.
And the food at  Anchor & Hope. Yum. Yum.Yum.
We invited over our friends for lunch and dinner yesterday and today, they voluntarily came back to babysit our kiddies all day so Andrew and I can go out for a date.
They offered! And they packed me a goodie bag to bring it with me, in case I run out of energy. 🙂
We went to Nyack and Tarrytown, NY and walked around all day. Thanks Danny & Renna for this sweet offer! The kids had so much fun doing all kinds of craft projects.
We should do this more often! 😉
This week is all about eating well with my family and friends!
My friends came over for meals and when I shared my sad baking story, she was happy to help me try again. Under her strict supervision, we made organic white chocolate coconut cookies. Recipe found on foodnetwork.com

at 5 a.m. this morning,
Chloe: Mommy, can I go downstairs?
Me: No.
Chloe: Daddy, can I go downstairs?
Andrew: No.
at 6 a.m.
Chloe: Can I go down stairs now?
Me: No, honey. Let’s wait until Shane wakes up, okay?
Chloe: but Mommy, I really want to go see downstairs!
Me: Go ask Daddy.
Chloe: (walks over to Andrew) Daddy, can I go downstairs?
Andrew: No. Go back to sleep.
at 7 a.m.
Chloe: NOW, can I go down stairs??
Me: Oh… okay. Let me get my camera.
Chloe: OKAY, MOMMY!
Shane woke up extra late this morning (7:45!) He’s such a kidder. He’s doing, ‘I pretend I don’t care’ face.
This was the best laugh. I’m sorry I missed it!
Andrew got  fancy boots.
They are experts at making a mass.

Merry Christmas, everyone….

My friends and I planned a shower for my another pregnant friend. This is the last of my party planning this year. Phew, I'm tired…

While I was busy preparing decorations and setups for the party, Andrew asked me the most daunting question. What are we doing with 18 kids in one place?? (uhm… we can't even control two of our own, he said) So after having a small panic attack, I calmly searched online for a solution. And I found it.
**Tinkerbell** from My Fairy Tale Party! Everything they were telling me sounded so good. And it was all true~
There was face painting,
craft projects,
tattoos,
dancing, and lots more…
then Chloe got anointed as a princess,
and got a tiare.

I ordered the cupcakes, cookies and the birthday cake from A Lili' Tasted of Heaven and she did a wonderful job. I gave her pictures and drawings of what I want and she did just that and more!
