Sunday, May 26th, 2013dinner party
Saturday, May 4th, 2013Our family was invited to a lovely dinner at our church friend’s house (who are also our family dentists). The food was delicious and the conversations were great.
Oh the food… the black cod dish was better than what fancy restaurants served. Not to mention the filet mignon, seared salmon, seaweed & cucumber salad, and green salad dressing were also excellent.
Wow, thank you so much Chan family for the a m a z i n g meal you prepared for us!
friend’s birthday party
Saturday, April 6th, 2013This is the fifth consecutive weekends where we went to one of the kids’ friends birthday parties at different kids venues. Andrew and I have been taking turns taking the kids and today was my turn. I was actually looking forward to this one because it was my close church friend’s kids party so I knew I can hang out with my friends too. 🙂
MJ got the “mother-of-the-day” award for sliding and climbing every single inflated things here with her daughter. She got my standing ovation.
Uncle Aus also got the applause from me.
The first time I took the kids to BounceU a few weeks ago, Shane said to me:
“Mommy, I never want to leave this place.”
Happy birthday princess!
night out
Saturday, March 16th, 2013I met with my closest  girlfriends for drinks and dinner at SakaMai.
Now that we are all moms we eat more than we drink. We used to do the opposite!
great long weekend
Monday, February 18th, 2013I was a social butterfly this weekend. First, our family was invited for lunch at our friend’s house in Wykcoff and we felt so blessed to have met such a great family. Thank you Chung family!
Then at night I went to a Karaoke with my girls in K-town NYC. Wow, it’s been years since I went singing. It was a blast!
On Monday, we went to have brunch in Hoboken with more friends.
I was so happy we finally got to hang out with the Lee family all afternoon, catching up on our busy lives. We must do it again soon…
best. birthday. ever.
Saturday, January 26th, 2013I had a lovely surprise party thrown for me this weekend. I had. no. idea. really. It’s not even a milestone birthday and I still have a long way to the big 40! (Oh well, at least in my mind) Plus my birthday is not until next week.
Andrew and I were supposed to go out for a date night in the city (so I thought ) but when he told me we’re going to Harvest, a restaurant we’ve been to a few times before, I was so disappointed that we were staying in New Jersey. If he knows me at all, I would not have gotten a babysitter so that we could go to a restaurant that I’ve been to before. I have a long list of restaurant lists in the city that I want to try and we only have a few date night a year! Anyway, to make the long story short, I never ever expected this and was so so greatly surprised! I mean I was thrilled and over joyed and so very happy to see a room full of people I love waiting for me. I felt so blessed and loved.
Thank you everyone who braved the cold weather to celebrate my birthday with me. And a very special thanks to SJ for organizing this party and coordinating with Andrew!
Thanks babe!!! You’re the best!
