Since joining the LT gym last week, we’ve been going to the outdoor pool everyday after dinner (except when they have swim lessons elsewhere). So basically we went swimming every single day this week.

Kids ran into their friends here and played together. Good times.

Chloe said it feels like we’re on a vacation. LIFE is good. 🙂

This afternoon we had so much fun at our friend’s pool party!

Andrew and I were hanging out with our adults friends on the other side of the backyard and I peek at the swimming pool to check on the kids and this is what I saw.

My heart. Skipped. A beat. He didn’t have his floaties on!!!!

This is when my heart stopped…

and this is when I stared breathing again. He came up from the deep water and swam across to the side.

O.M.G. that boy… I guess the last two session of swim lessons really helped him!

Tonight I’m preparing simple italian dinner for my good friends who are visiting from the city.

Herb roasted cod with green olives with side of creamy parmesan polenta. Ina Garten’s recipes. Super easy and super delicious!

After church, we invited a few of our neighbor friends over for some grilling.

S’mores master

We hardly saw our kids today. I just loved seeing our kids enjoying their friends so much. What a great memory they are making here….

Shane was nowhere to be seen for a while and we found him in the parking lot hanging out with big boys. 🙂
He told me he had the best day ever before he went to bed at 10pm tonight.

Chloe also had sooooo much fun here, she told me this was the best vacation ever. Better than Hawaii, in fact. What can I say!  I’m so glad we all had an awesome time. Can’t wait for next year!

It’s that time again! We look forward to spending a long weekend at Camp of the Woods with our church family every year.

It was a beautiful evening of fellowship for all of us…

Last Saturday, I ran into an old friend at a local market and he happens live right next town over. Next thing I know we’re playing in his pool. 😉

This morning Chloe was invited to a Frozen themed birthday party! I was able to plan a playdate for Shane with his buddy from school to save him from the Frozen madness . 🙂
