church picnic
Sunday, September 14th, 2014fashion camp
Thursday, August 21st, 2014Chloe went to a Girl Scout sewing and fashion camp this week and today all the girls wore their own designs and walk the “runway”. The teacher introduced Chloe as very creative, very soft spoken at first but who came out of her shell when she began to explain her thought process about her designs. Chloe called her top ice concept matching with her butterfly high and low skirt.
I was blown away. Great job Chloe!
last day of bible camp
Thursday, August 14th, 2014Chloe and Shane went to Pilgrim Bible camp for the past 6 weeks this summer and today they have a presentation for parents showcasing what they learned. They also projected slide shows from the field trips and the overnight retreat which I really appreciated and enjoyed.
Haha, I wonder why they got in trouble. Chloe…
Thank you everyone at Pilgrim! What a great program!!!

Sunday, August 3rd, 2014massive sleepover!
Sunday, July 27th, 2014After dinner, all FIVEÂ kids stayed over for a sleepover tonight. That’s 7 kids in the house.
The littlest one saying goodbye to her mom…. I’m not sure who’s going to cry first…
Before bedtime, the girls read,
and boys played games….
They chatted until close to 11pm! I have no idea what they were talking about but they sure had a lot to say about something.
These (overexcited)Â kids woke me up at 6AM. I’m not even sure how long they’ve been up.
Breakfast at 7AM. What. The.
Shane has mastered cutting pancakes!
Right after breakfast we hurried off to church for a Sunday worship, followed by a memorial service… What a crazy busy fun (and sad) weekend we had.
love summer
Saturday, July 26th, 2014Nothing says summer like some lobster rolls and clambake with cocktails!
Recipe here
Strawberry mint and lemon mojito… I’m going to make this my signature summer drink! 🙂
Best part of it all is having friends you love over to share.
lemonade stands
Saturday, July 26th, 2014Kids have been begging me to set up a lemonade stand for weeks now so I ordered one from Etsy. It finally arrived just in time for the playdate with Lee & Wei’s family.
I asked the seller to leave the top blank so I can customized the sign.
I was happy to find cute lemonade stand printables (exactly how I envisioned it) from here . Saved me so much time! I left the inside content area blank and laminated the sign and the menu so kids can use markers to write on it. They can also change the menu and reuse it in the future. 😉
Well well well, designer “super dad” Austin also handmade his lemonade stand and brought it over (to show off). It’s time for a throw down!!
Austin’s stand eventually served as a cocktail bar to adults.
