For our annual photo-shoots backdrop.

We literally decide to host this year’s New Years party during our ski trip and we returned yesterday. As soon as I woke up this morning, I went through everything in my craft/decorations closets and pull these out.

Since we had less than 24 hrs to prepare, we went 90% store bought for the food and I made 1 star dish, 

Seared petite lamb chops with rosemary balsamic reduction

Plus, I can also rely on my friends to bring food. 🙂

Best way to end the hard ski day.

Shane got the hang of skiing this year. He just went. Even on to the blue.

We’re renting this house with two other families for the next 3 days.

Now that I’m really DONE with all of the holiday parties, work functions, events & sales,  I can finally relax enjoy the rest of the year…

I went to my yoga class this morning, came back so refreshed, and enjoyed cooking healthy meals for the family and resumed in my bed for a quick nap even. I feel like I haven’t had a saturday like that for a long time and it felt so nice not doing anything productive.

In the evening we went to our friend’s beautiful new house for dinner and enjoyed catching up with them.
