There they are! About to launch their own business!

Chloe and her friend are participating Trep$ (a trendy terms for young entrepreneurs) Market place at school and they have been working very hard, learning about product development, finance, marketing, advertising and sales.

They are making “Scented Necklaces with Charms”.  An idea they came up with, of putting perfume in a little glass bottle and wearing it as a necklace. 

Them along with two sponsors/supporters working overtime…

Can’t wait to see their sales skills this Thursday!

A good friend of mine’s husband published a book so I helped her plan a celebration party in LIC. 

Soooo good to see these two!

I had so much fun hanging out with old and new friends at the event. What a fun busy week! More photos to follow…

Town wide fun raising event

Kids always have the best time cheering for the both teams.

Today parents were invited to 4th grade Immigration presentation.

Students have been learning to “walk in the shoes” of the early immigrants.  They each created a foam board representing the immigrant experience.I really enjoyed talking to many of them and they all did an excellent job.

The GS troop got sewing lessons and made pajama pants.

Chloe started taking ice skating lessons with her friends on Fridays.

So I brought Shane and his friend.

Afterwards, it’s just me and the boys for dinner.

These kids eat more than me for sure.

Today there was a “Battle of the Books” competition took place during school hour. Battle of the Books is a reading club program for students. Each team member is responsible for 3 books on the book list and they have to answer questions about the books they read.

9 Teams competed today and Chloe’s team got the second place which meant they won a spot to compete at The County Battle of the Books! The competition was so intense!

Awesome job you guys!! So proud of you!

Today I’m celebrating my friend’s upcoming wedding, and we came to The Art of Cakes to make beautiful cupcake bouquets.
