We are happy to host thanksgiving dinner for both of our parents this year.

It is a family affair, we all cook together for the thanksgiving dinner. This has become our family tradition. 🙂

Shane makes mashed potatoes,

Chloe and Andrew make an apple pie,

And I make everything else.

Roasted butternut squash, caramelized fig and feta salad

Flatbread with goat cheese, arugula and roasted garlic jam

Cranberry sauce with walnut

Sage buttered mashed potatoes

Parmesan Roasted Brussels Sprouts

and 15 lbs herb roasted turkey

We are out with our friends tonight in upstate NY for a fun event.

I’m so glad that my friend asked me if I wanted to take a cake decorating class. It was so much fun! @The Art of Cake Studio

We had some friends over so I prepared treats for them before heading down the street to trick or treat.

Shane’s a bush and Chloe’s a sports fan! I made Shane’s bush “outfit” with chicken wire and leaves and it came out pretty well. 🙂

Chloe had her Girls Scout cooking class event at Sur La Table tonight. The girls made chopped salad with creamy parmesan dressing, Spaghetti and mini-meatballs in tomato sauce from scratch and chocolate gelato.

Apples were not that great this season…but it was still fun to come out for a family outing. Note to self: Don’t come here during Columbus weekend. Way too crowded.
