To the coolest 14 year old girl that has ever lived! I love your uproarious sense of humor, your silly laughs, your infectious smile, your dad jokes and your ever growing list of puns. You make me so happy and I am beyond proud of you. I love you so much, my first love!
I was so sad my mother-in-law couldn’t join us this year because of covid but we have so much to be thankful for. Praise God for his faithfulness and his perfect love. Thanks be to God.
We all cooked all day long as we always do on Thanksgiving day. I did have to call (or yell) to get them back a few times, but I know everyone really helped out and I loved having them around. Everything turned out good except for my turkey… I made a mistake on the temperature bc I got confused with other things going in and out of the other oven. Bummer. 🙁 I was so sad, because this could’ve been a really delicious bird. It was still good but it was dry and there was nothing I could do for graving. Is the a hashtag for “turkey fail”?
My mom and I went to Woodbury Commons today. Luckily because of the cold rainy weather, the shops were not crowded and we felt okay shopping. Then this is what our lunch looked like. Eating Shake Shack burgers in the car. My mom’s been so cooped up in the house, this felt like such a nice little treat.
Wife, Mother, jewelry designer & graphic designer /Creative Director, I am HaeWon Cadence Ryu. This is a glimpse into my life’s blessings, passion and inspiration.
This blog came to fruition after I began motherhood; I wanted to be able to capture every millestone of my two beautiful children - Chloe & Shane as they journey through their early years. Since the launch of my online jewelry site, cadencelee.com, I’ve come face-to-face with having to juggle multiple roles. As a result, I have decided to feature some of my designs and inspiration alongside postings of my precious family. For me, this is the perfect medium of work-life balance.
