Happy birthday to me. It was a quiet day… we got hit with snow storm and we played in the snow with Miles. Chloe and I baked a banana cake with cream cheese frosting. I made it not too sweet, just perfect for my taste.

• 4 large ripe bananas (about 1and 1/2 cups mashed)
• 3 cups (375g) all-purpose flour 
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3/4 cup (170g) unsalted butter, 
• 1/4 granulated sugar
• 3 large eggs, at room temperature
• 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
• 1 and 1/2 cups (360ml) buttermilk, at room temperature

Miles is the sweetest little puppy and we love him so much! He’s already almost tripled his size in one month he’s been with us. He’s at 6 lbs and today is his 3 months birthday!

Kids “order” what they want to eat for lunch these days, especially Shane, now they are home all the time. Pink Pasta is their favorite they ask for at least once a week.  

I usually wait alone in the car during kids music lessons but today I have a buddy!

To kids rooms… 

Kids and I met up with our friends to ski for the day and we had a great time! Skiing was fun even though it was bit icy but what what I enjoyed the most was seeing some of our friends faces in person after many months of zoom meetings. 
I finally invested in ski gears this year for the first time in my life so I’ll be looking for more opportunities to ski this winter locally.
