We biked to Camelback mountain this morning enjoying the gorgeous morning in Arizona before we fly back tonight. It’s been a relaxing, fun, eat-too-much kind of weekend with my hubby. I feel so blessed to have this time away, especially since my ski injury. There’s been a lot of uncertainties leading up to this trip and I actually spent the whole day prior to flying trying to cancel everything…but in the end, I’m so glad we came and now I know I’m able to fly with my condition and my headache which lasted over 2 month finally subsided. I’ve had so many friends who prayed for me and I can say I really felt all the prayers and God’s protection through this journey and am so thankful for my support group, my prayer warriers, my family in Christ!
We flew to Arizona this morning, just me and Andrew, to celebrate our friend Tina’s wedding. Rehearsal dinner @ The Gladly
Today Chloe blew us all away with her drum skills. She just started playing a little less than a year ago and joined this band just 6 weeks ago. I was so excited and so proud of how much she’s learned in such short period of time!! Rock on, Chloebear!!

I convinced my family to take me for a drive to Mitsuwa so I can make some Japanese food I’ve been craving.
When I came downstairs, Chloe had already made me breakfast the night before for my birthday. SO SWEET!
My mom also made for me a birthday seaweed soup, oysters, steamed & marinaded eggplants and beansprouts. ALL my favorite things to eat. I feel so blessed and full. 🙂
I wasn’t able to do much since I’m still kind of recovering from my concussion on Saturday… but I could still eat. ;P I’m grateful to be alive and surrounded by my family who loves me. Thank you God…
It’s been a bit of rollercoaster with a car accident I had in early January and learning about my good friend passing, then the ski accident… I’m grateful for my groups of faithful Christian friends and family who pray alongside of me and keeping me accountable as I navigate through life.
