SUSHI ROLL CONTEST
Thursday, August 18th, 2022Kids and I went to a Japanese market this afternoon and we each picked out ingredients to make our own unique combination hand rolls. We tried to come up with ‘who made it best’ but honestly we were hungry and ate them as we were making them. Hence, no picture of assembled rolls. haha.
BLUEBERRIES ARE IN SEASON
Wednesday, August 17th, 2022I love blueberries in the summer and we eat them almost everyday. This morning, I made blueberry compote and topped it on multi-grain toast with ricotta cheese.

Tuesday, August 16th, 2022It’s too hot out and I can’t be bothered to turn on a stove. This is your lunch kids. Avocado, sweet corn, grape tomatoes, onions, black beans and cilantro marinated with garlic, lime juice, salt and pepper.
ALL YOU SHANE
Friday, August 12th, 2022I noticed Shane’s always ordering chocolate pancakes whenever we go out for breakfast so I thought I would give it to him at home. A stack of 4 pancakes!
BROWN UNIVERSITY TOUR
Wednesday, August 10th, 2022It was great to be back here!! So many amazing memories…
Of course, we can’t not have Nam Chows when we are here! We had to drive back home today so didn’t have time to stop at RISD which is super sad but maybe we’ll be back here again and I would have many opportunities? Who knows! 😉
All in all, this was a great road trip, getting kids excited and motivated for thinking about colleges! So glad we got to do this, this summer.
TAKE OUT FOOD
Wednesday, August 10th, 2022We mostly had to do take out foods during this trip because of having hard time finding restaurants that are pet friendly. Plus, it’s too hot to eat outdoor dinning.
NORTHEASTERN TOUR
Wednesday, August 10th, 2022HARVARD

CRAVING KOREAN FOOD
Tuesday, August 9th, 2022Andrew and I left the kids and Miles at the hotel because we wanted Korean food but there’s no Korean restaurant that is pet friendly. Sorry Miles! So Andrew and I had a quick dinner at Korean Garden restaurant which is only 10 min away. When it’s hot out, I only want to eat Korean buck noodles. Yum.
Then we brought fun foods for kids. 🙂
