big girl’s room upgrade
Saturday, June 16th, 2018Chloe and I have been working on upgrading her room little by little since the beginning of this year. We let her choose all of her furniture pieces and accessories and this is how it turned out!
Ta da~ She’s been dreaming about this four poster bed from PBteens.
We went to a bunch of fabric stores in the garment district in NYC and Chloe chose this trim from M&J Trimming. I sewed it on the top of the canopy to glam it up a bit. She definitely has a designer’s eye!
Fairly lights on top, of course.
I picked up this antique frame from a flea market in Brooklyn and turned it into a pin board. I covered the cork board with a natural canvas fabric to give it a softer look.
And here is the star of this room:
The hanging chair!
This chair is e v e r y t h i n g.
Chloe has been super responsible on keeping her room neat, making her bed every morning and getting everything organized since the room update. Congratulations on your new dream room, Chloe~
I’m just so proud of you~~~<3 <3 <3

Friday, March 16th, 2018I feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to design our new sanctuary room in our new church building we are about to move in next week. It’s been a great learning experience for me as I’ve never done anything like this before. I just kept hoping and praying that I don’t mess anything up along the way. I’m so thankful for the great support, help, and encouragement by my church during this process.
I got to work with our very own carpenter Gary to design this cross and I am just so thrilled.
Today I got to go to his workshop to help build stage walls. Had a blast working with him and his wife. Look at this cute couple!
I learned how to use staple gun.
