Monday, December 24th, 2018Chloe’s 12th birthday party! { part 2 }
Saturday, December 15th, 2018While they are out, I prepared hot chocolate & dessert plates for the cake.
LOVED the girls’ reactions when I cut the cake. Totally made my 9 hrs of labor making the cake sooooo worth it!
Came out better than I thought!
We extended the party until 8pm because they were having so much fun. We ended the night with Home Alone 3.
WHAT A FUN DAY.
Rainbow birthday cake
Friday, December 14th, 2018I’m planning Chloe’s birthday party tomorrow and decided to make her a rainbow cake.
I didn’t realize I needed several more baking pans and mixing bowls to make 9 different layers of cake so I took out whatever bowls I could use…
Note to self: Need to buy cooling rack.
I had a lot of fun throwing sprinkles to make it stick.
Ready to party!
Decorating for the advent season
Wednesday, November 28th, 2018For the last few weeks, my friend and I have been busy planning and decorating for our church, getting ready for the Advent season.
We made 6 big wreaths with help of lovely ladies who volunteered to help.
We strung lights to the wreaths and hang them from the ceiling.
I got to hang them using a riser from the top of the ceiling. It was wild, fun and scary to be so high up there. What an experience.
cupcake decorating class
Saturday, November 3rd, 2018I’m so glad that my friend asked me if I wanted to take a cake decorating class. It was so much fun! @The Art of Cake Studio

Sunday, June 17th, 2018big girl’s room upgrade
Saturday, June 16th, 2018Chloe and I have been working on upgrading her room little by little since the beginning of this year. We let her choose all of her furniture pieces and accessories and this is how it turned out!
Ta da~ She’s been dreaming about this four poster bed from PBteens.
We went to a bunch of fabric stores in the garment district in NYC and Chloe chose this trim from M&J Trimming. I sewed it on the top of the canopy to glam it up a bit. She definitely has a designer’s eye!
Fairly lights on top, of course.
I picked up this antique frame from a flea market in Brooklyn and turned it into a pin board. I covered the cork board with a natural canvas fabric to give it a softer look.
And here is the star of this room:
The hanging chair!
This chair is e v e r y t h i n g.
Chloe has been super responsible on keeping her room neat, making her bed every morning and getting everything organized since the room update. Congratulations on your new dream room, Chloe~
I’m just so proud of you~~~<3 <3 <3
