kids halloween party – { part 2 }
Saturday, November 1st, 2014We’re playing Dr. Feel-einstein game. Kids have to put their hands in each numbered bag and guess which part of body parts they are feeling.
In the bags were:
- Dried Apricots – Tongues
- Cooked, Cold Spaghetti Noodles – Hair
- Peeled Grapes – Eyeballs
- Peeled Tomato – Heart
- Candy Corns – Teeth
- Baby Dill Pickles – Nose
- Cauliflower – Brain
- Slime – Booger (the best one!)
The facial expressions were priceless!
Then, make Mummies : This is about to get really messy…
Kids decorated their own candy apples.

I had so much fun thanks to all the parents who helped me entertain my little sugar filled guests. This was the best way to celebrate Halloween…with sweets and sweet friends. Happy Halloween!

Thursday, August 21st, 2014Chloe went to a Girl Scout sewing and fashion camp this week and today all the girls wore their own designs and walk the “runway”. The teacher introduced Chloe as very creative, very soft spoken at first but who came out of her shell when she began to explain her thought process about her designs. Chloe called her top ice concept matching with her butterfly high and low skirt.
I was blown away. Great job Chloe!

Saturday, June 7th, 2014We have a very special guests staying with us and we’re so thrilled to have them for the weekend!
Chloe’s been talking about selling lemonade in our street today…but I didn’t think she’ll have a good turn out…so I suggested we wrap up our lemon poppyseed muffins instead and share them with our neighbors. One of our neighbors kids babysit our kids and Chloe and Shane absolutely LOVE them. 🙂
Kids wrote each of their names and decorated the boxes.
Delivery ready to go.
On our way back we cut some flowers from our garden.
