After brunch, Shane and I hung out and met up with my friend for matcha.

Chloe invited her friends to come and help with painting the shed.
It was a great idea!!!
For about an hour.
All of them left to go have lunch inside then never came back. I found myself painting all by myself.

It was just me and these ducks outside… sigh.

It’s been an emotional few days… Chloe’s been diagnosed with scoliosis. It came as a shocking news, perturbing and I broke down at the possibility of a surgery. But by the grace, love and faithfulness of my God who listened to my urgent prayer, I believed He granted us a miracle.  We are now hopeful that with a brace and physical therapy she may never need a surgery. It’s going to be a long and difficult  journey, but I know that God is with us and He will guide us through this.

Chloe’s busy making a virgin sangria for her friends this morning.

She’s putting white peach, blueberry, orange, lime juice, white grape juice, topped with frozen kiwi ice cubes.

And I made food to go with it.

We’re heading to the city early in the morning to walk the Brooklyn bridge today. One of my summer bucket list!

It’s early enough that it’s not very crowded but it’s already getting hot…
