Today they are playing matches against other junior team.

It’s not just Chloe who loves to read, Shane’s also been reading a lot this summer too.

This stack is all the books Shane read in a week as a mandatory reading (from me;)) besides his fun reads like Magnus Chase, Lockwood & co, and Trials of Apollo to name a few.

I feel like I’m sitting at a resort garden…

I was on my computer in the study, and out of the blue, kids came with uncontrollable giggles and laughter and started singing “take on me”. It was quiet the performance.

Chloe’s been working on her silver award project for Girl Scout this summer. She researched to find out local organizations that worked with a cause she’s passionate about and after making phone calls and writing emails to make appointments which lead to a meeting with a director, she and her friend decided to work with Camp Sunshine. It’s a summer recreational program for children and young adults with multiple disabilities.
This week they started volunteering at the camp and I am so proud of them for coming out each day with bright similes on their faces after a full day of work.
