We decided to make most of the last weekend of summer before school starts and squeeze a little camping trip in the Poconos.
What an awesome night catching up with friends! After dinner, I sent my family home and three of us sat out until 11pm chatting, enjoying the beautiful summer night. So Fun!
There were too many bees attacking us in Vermont every time we tried to eat or take a pictures. LOL! Made the best pictures!
Since I’m not able to hike (still in recovery mode) we drove up to the Equinox mountain before heading home. The summit offered breathtaking panoramic views of the Green Mountain, White Mountain of New Hempshire, Adirondack, Berkshire and Taconic mountain ranges.
Chloe and I dropped off the boys at the Equinox Country Club and went shopping around the town of Manchester.
This is the only restaurant in Stratton village that’s open and lucky for us the food was pretty good!
We got the only picnic table by the lake in the park by luck.
Chloe’s my bag pack!
Beautiful, clean and refreshing Vermont water! kids spent all day swimming, skipping rocks in the lake while Andrew and I lounged under a cool shade watching them playing. A perfect summer day.
