She is still into thrifting so I took her to Montclaire this afternoon and we had fun. Although we didn’t find anything worth purchasing, we got to enjoy rolled ice cream.
Kids and I went to a Japanese market this afternoon and we each picked out ingredients to make our own unique combination hand rolls. We tried to come up with ‘who made it best’ but honestly we were hungry and ate them as we were making them. Hence, no picture of assembled rolls. haha.
I love blueberries in the summer and we eat them almost everyday. This morning, I made blueberry compote and topped it on multi-grain toast with ricotta cheese.
It was great to be back here!! So many amazing memories…
Of course, we can’t not have Nam Chows when we are here! We had to drive back home today so didn’t have time to stop at RISD which is super sad but maybe we’ll be back here again and I would have many opportunities? Who knows! 😉
All in all, this was a great road trip, getting kids excited and motivated for thinking about colleges! So glad we got to do this, this summer.
We might as well look at Harvard while we are here for some inspiration.;)
It was getting too hot for Miles to walk, so Shane carried him towards the end.
