I think it was one of the busiest weekends I’ve had in a long time. Chloe also had a birthday party and a play-date after church. While Chloe was celebrating her friend’s birthday, I was enjoying the nice spring weather outside with my friends. 

Cuteness overload.

We have friends coming over to play with us and this is what I prepared.

Shane had fun with 3 boys and Chloe was busying being an excellent host playing and taking care of two little girls.  

Not only she did an amazing job on this poster, she gave a fantastic presentation about who her character is, her reasons for immigrating and her experience on the boat ride, at Ellis Island and how she lived thereafter. Her stories were so creative and imaginative based on real facts, I felt like tearing up listening to her stories! Two thumbs up Chloe!!

All of them did an awesome job.

Chloe worked so hard on this Immigration poster. Her character’s name is Sonia and she came from Poland.

Chloe took a drawing class hosted by her Girls Scout troop this afternoon.

Each year our town has this fun fund raising event called The Books (kids school teachers and staffs) vs. Badges (town police officers) basketball game . It’s our first time taking the kids to see it and I have to say it was well worth missing the Friday night Korean school. 🙂

Kids went wild and it was so much fun seeing our kids having a great time with their friends!

The nice and beautiful morning snow turned into a wild gust of snow, sleet, wind, and icy rain towards the afternoon, but that didn’t stop the kids from playing outside. Chloe also cleaned the snow in the front porch and came inside frozen. She’s defrosting in the bath and told me not to tell Shane so she can have a nice and relaxing time alone. 🙂

My favorite piece of furniture in the house is this built in cabinet in my bathroom.

We woke up with giant snowballs coming down from the sky. I’ve never seen such big chucks of snow falling before. Yay, snow day!

I made broccoli cheddar quiche for breakfast and Chloe and I made apple crisp for mid morning snack. Thank you God for the day off. 🙂

My sweet Chloe, who loves to read got new glasses.

I can stare at her face for hours. How did I get so lucky…
