Oktoberfest in Town
Sunday, October 8th, 2017All Fall Things
Sunday, October 8th, 2017My all time favorite fall activity is going to a farm and picking fruits with my family. 😉
It’s a bit of a drive but we love coming to this farm so we can also pick grapes.
Shane nailed a “camera” smile.
Discipleship Ministry to Girls
Sunday, October 1st, 2017I’m hosting a Girl’s Discipleship group at our house this afternoon. Chloe has been a part of this discipleship group, organized by a group of moms who have the similar age girls at our church. As a mother, my greatest desire is for my children to be so passionately in love with Jesus Christ and so firmly planted in the gospel that their faith will remain unshakable once they become adults and leave home. One thing I strongly believe is having christian friendships that can help through their spiritual walks, encourage each other and keep each other accountable through their journey of faith.
Today is my turn to do the lesson and the topic I chose is, “jealousy”.
I put together a little powerpoint presentation to help me keep track of my thoughts.
Birthday at D&B
Friday, September 22nd, 2017Happy Birthday Shane!
Thursday, September 21st, 2017Brunch @ Laudurée
Tuesday, September 19th, 2017One of Chloe’s bucket list for this trip was to eat the “authentic” Laudurée macarons in Paris at their original location. She’s too funny. Luckily there was one close to our hotel.
This is her thing now…drinking hot chocolate with her breakfast.
And Macaroons! We got one box for our family and one box for her best friend. 🙂 Can’t wait to see the rest of our family back home!
Eiffel Tower
Monday, September 18th, 2017Last Night in Paris
Monday, September 18th, 2017Streets of Paris, Louvre & Jardin des Tuileries
Monday, September 18th, 2017I am super excited I am in Paris with these two! My mom’s been here over 40 years ago and she wished she had more time here. There’s just so much to see but obviously we couldn’t see everything in 1 day so I basically just pointed things out to Chloe so when she has the opportunity to visit again, maybe with me or on her own when she’s older, she’ll hopefully get to all of them. My mission on this trip was to show her the Louvre and Eiffel tower at the very least.
