C’s dorm room

Saturday, September 27th, 2025

I designed this poster for Chloe’s dorm room as a beautiful reminder of her true identity in Christ and the unshakable promises found in Scripture. May it call her heart back, again and again, to the immeasurable love of God that surrounds her and sustains her.

  • Rejoice in suffering, for Christ suffered for you. (1 Peter 4:12–19; James 1:2–4)

  • You are deeply loved, and in that love you are called and empowered to love others. (John 15:9–14)

  • Nothing can separate you from the love of God. (Romans 8:37–39)

May these words remind her that she is never alone, always loved, and forever held in Christ.

Lord, I lift Chloe to You and ask that this poster be more than words on a wall—may it be a constant reminder of her worth and identity in You. When she faces trials, let her find joy knowing that You have already walked the path of suffering for her. When she doubts, remind her that she is deeply and unconditionally loved, and that love overflows into the way she treats others. When she feels alone, anchor her in the unchanging truth that nothing, that no fear, no failure, no circumstance, can separate her from Your love.

Father, surround her dorm room with Your peace, fill her heart with Your strength, and let her life shine with the assurance of who she is in Christ.

we miss you already…

letting go…

Saturday, August 30th, 2025

Chloe’s been asking to send pictures of Miles everyday… so here’s what i have been sending her…

It’s been so hard not having my girl with me every day. I miss seeing her sweet face, hearing her voice, watching her eat, and catching the sound of her laughter drifting from her room while she talks with her friends. I miss her coming up the stairs with a smile, saying, “Hi, Mom,” before wrapping me in a hug. I miss her chasing Miles around just to tickle his paws, chatting with her brother about his day, or asking me if she can borrow the Genesis.

I’m learning, slowly, how to let her go… how to be excited and happy for her as she steps into this new season. But my heart still misses the countless little moments we shared all those years, and I carry them with me every day.
