Kids and I pretended the lego figure as daddy because we didn’t expect to see him after Shane was already asleep.
Andrew came home before Chloe’s bedtime, so she wished him a Happy Birthday and blew his candle. Twice. We had to light the candle for the third time so Andrew could make his birthday wish. Happy birthday, honey!
Besides getting him a couple of shirts as a birthday gift, I also got him a night out pass and a forgiveness card. Now that’s a gift of love.
I didn’t get to take photos of the decorations before the guest arrived. Good thing we hired David again to capture the event. In the meantime, here what I have.
The left side of the table was eaten by the little guests. 😉
Look at our face expressions. lol!
Shane ate his first cake!
and Chloe had lollipops, cupcakes, m&m, marshmallows, and a piece of cake…
Shane started walking on september, 9th just in time for his birthday. This is such cute picture of Chloe, Shane & Rilee. 🙂
Chloe was so sweet helping Shane with walking. She knew the party was for Shane and wished him happy birthday many many times.
Thank you everyone who came and celebrated Shane’s first birthday. Stay tuned for more party pictures!
My $60 coffee table from IKEA is finally done. It’s a bit messy and it did not turn out exactly how I wanted but I’m okay with it for now. Most of the work went into the design of the motif and making it into a stencil, then I spray painted the table. Hopefully this will add some color to go with my green sofa in the living room.
She did potty #2 last Thursday for the very first time. Her nanny left Chloe’s poop in the potty for me to see when I came home from work. Uhm, thanks Jen. I told Chloe, that I want to buy her a present. She didn’t pause for a second to tell me what she wanted.
She wanted purple Crocs. Her best friend Tirra has them apparently. I cannot believe Chloe is already asking for things that her friends have. She is so into shoes and knows the different types of shoes, "…this is my tennis shoes, that’s my sandal, that’s my jellyshoes, my boots, flip flops… they’re not comfortable but I want to wear them!" She got the flip flops as a present from Eura but since they are big on her, Chloe fell on her knees a few time at daycare. However, she keeps insisting on wearing them even though she tells me that they are uncomfortable.
Her nanny pointed out that Chloe is compromising fashion over comfort. ALREADY!?!?
Every other night, Chloe and I do projects together before bed. These are from last week.
