Every morning she wakes up and the first thing she does is pick out her clothes to wear. So much time is spent on discussing her outfits, negotiating and putting on and off her summer dresses (she ALWAYS wants to wear a dress), which is usually layered over a sweater or turtle neck shirts with warm pants. If she really can't agree with what I recommend for her, I would have to throw in one of MY necklaces to convince her. Otherwise, she won't budge and she'll be late for daycare, which means I'll be late for work.
Even though she lives, breathes and dreams in a pink, she insists that her favorite color is purple.

In the last two weeks or so, I noticed Chloe started to draw faces. 🙂

On Christmas eve…

They ran into the living room and saw all the presents.

Chloe stood there for a moment before she started opening the gifts.

Out of all the presents she opened, the first thing she wanted to do was to paint the picture frames. Thanks aunt Jenny for the presents!

Andrew and I spent about 3 hours setting up this kitchen unit.

We had a wonderful day with our family.

Today was Chloe's last day at school and the parents were invited to their chanukah party.
Chloe knew that I was there as a guest and was very accomodating. She brought me a chair to sit next to her and didn't sit down until I sat down.
We got to see the children perform on stage, played some games and ate snacks with them. Chloe was a very good listener. She was very attentive and cooperative to what the teachers were guiding them to do.
Some parents made comments about Chloe being very quiet and shy. I was just laughing to myself. Shy? Maybe sometimes, initially…but quiet? Oh nooooo.

This morning she beaded a necklace all by herself. I was impressed! Some of the holes in the beads were really small and there were even hard for me to do it. She did a great job!

Andrew's best friend and his wife came over in the evening to bring presents to the kids. It was a nice surprise and Chloe got to stay up a little late and had *drinks* with us.

Thank you uncle Danny and auntie Renna for wonderful gifts!!

I turned our breakfast nook into a creative space for Chloe in the kitchen. Now she can hang around after dinner and do her art projects with me while I do dishes and cook for the next day before she goes to bed.

Chloe and I are busy every other night making stuff, weather it’s a hair piece, a necklace or a sticker button. After dinner is our craft time together. She’s wearing her new felt ball necklace and a purple polka dot feather hair piece, our recent creations.

I had the lists of things to do in Miami and one of them was going to eat at Eden Roc. Ever since the place was featured in Food Network channel, I’ve been wanted to check it out. So after the kids went to bed, Andrew’s mom stayed in the condo with them so we can go out. The night we went to Eden Roc happened to be a fashion week sponsored by Stoli, and we got to enjoy great fashion shows and some complimentary drinks.

Posing like celebrity wannabees.
