random conversation

Sunday, May 22nd, 2011

Chloe: (after getting dressed for church) Ta da~ Shane! Do you like what I’m wearing?
Shane: uh, yes?
Chloe: Do you think I’m pretty? Do you want to marry me, Shane?
Shane: (playing with his trains, not paying much attention to Chloe) …
Chloe: Shane, do you want to marry me or someone else?
Shane: Uh, someone else.
Chloe: Fine. I’m going to marry my prince then. Good bye.

family walkathon at school

Friday, May 6th, 2011

Kids school had a family walkathon with parents today.

I can spot Chloe’s drawing from miles away. Hers is right above Sarah’s on the bottom.

Shane’s class room

We walked around the block with our “passports” from one country to another, getting stamps.

Shane’s thick chunky hand. I love holding his paws, I mean hands.

Waiting for his sister.

So they didn’t see each other for about 15 min, but they act like they haven’t see each other for months! So cute. 🙂

“This is Chloe and Tinkerbell, playing together. But then clam came bite her in the hair. Tinkerbell wanted to go back to Pixi Hollow after that.”

“That’s the rainbow, the black ones are rocks, the reds are lavas from volcano and it’s raining”

“This is inside of lava, this is big big volcano and the blackness are coming out of lava.”

“This is Arial, Chloe, mommy, swordfish and there’s rainbow captured in water, in the magical crystal ball.”

“This is a dream. These are princesses, kayla, Emma, and Baila. They’re holding hands, waiting at the parking lot for a car.”

“Uhm… this is uhm… Michelle, Baila(new Baila not the other one),and  Sarah. They are going camping. There’re branches and leaves.”

“This is mommy and daddy. Mommy’s trapped in a cage and mommy found a pink bathing suit.”

“Mommy and Chloe went flower picking.”

“Chloe and Emma. Emma lives in Hawaii.”

“That’s Rapunzel, Eugene, and the fake mother. The boy found pillow, the key and the ring on the pillow. ”

“That’s mommy. ” (the left drawing int he red is Shane’s. He also drew mommy.)

Chloe’s school project.

“This is our family”

“Mommy and Daddy. Is that funny?”

I have been pulling many late nights preparing for the new collection debuting in April. Thanks R & D for staying (insanely) late with me last night to get things done. Sort of felt like back in college with classmates pulling all nighters… although my body certainly didn’t feel the same this morning. To top it, Shane who normally has been getting up around 7:30 a.m. got up at 6 a.m. this morning. Seriously, HOW do they know??

Today we did another photo shoot and went really well. Just a few more days…

1:30 am: wrapping up

The big day, first rehearsal at 8 am, then the real presentation was at 2 pm. We finished by 5 pm. Then to the airport by 6 and got home around mid-night.

This was one of the hardest business trips! I’m glad everything went great and all in all, it was a successful trip. I’m just a little bit tired, that’s all. Just a little…
