Birthday boy has arrived!

A big thank you to everyone who came to celebrate Shane’s birthday! Thank you for making his day special and memorable. It was a blast!

I’ve been preparing for this party every night for a couple of months. I can’t wait to see Shane’s smile when he see this!

Shane’s turning FOUR this Friday!

Chloe is drawing stories.

She drew the house we stayed in Long Island a few days after we came back from the trip. She definitely has an eye for details and is very observant.

It was a beautiful night…

My girlfriends and I are planning a surprise birthday party for one of our friends tomorrow night. She’s also moving to London in a few weeks with her family so this party means a lot to us. I have the joy of decorating for this special night at our friend’s house. We’re using their splendid family room to put three of 6′ tables in the middle which will comfortably accommodate 19 guests for a sit down meal.
The theme of the party is: English garden.

Julie is a beautiful woman of God. Truly inspiring…and it’s my honor to plan her party. I’m blessed to be able to say she is my sister in Christ.

I love our house. We’re not sure how long we’ll stay in this house though since we feel we’re outgrowing our space…. So I thought I take some pictures of our house today. Just to have it as a record that this is where the kids were born. This is where it all began…

Our refrigerator broke over the memorial weekend and that lead to doing some paint works in the kitchen. No more wall paper!

This afternoon we rushed eating dinner to go back to school for the kids art show.

Shane, downing that cupcake. Luckily, he dropped that cupcake after this picture so he didn’t get to finish it. Thank goodness!
