Chloe made a beautiful card to her teacher. She had a great year and we’re so proud of her for doing so well at school. Is it weird that I also feel like I accomplished 1st grade too?

While we had all kinds of activities upstairs,

he was taking a father’s day nap downstairs….zzzzz…

Shane: Mommy, I know why mother’s day and father’s day are on Sundays.

Me: Oh yeah? Why?

Shane: Because we can go to church in the morning and thank God for our mothers and fathers.

How sweet…

This was Saturday.

Chloe read

I baked french toast

and made chicken teriyaki for lunch

Shane had a playdate

I painted, ( this one titled, “road to hana” )

Andrew went golfing,

and Chloe had a girl scout event.

late again, oh well…

Can’t believe Chloe will be 8 this year…

My baby pendants are featured in Glamour magazine!

The entire first graders sang together this morning. They did a wonderful job singing.
I bawled my eyes out watching my baby girl not looking like a baby anymore. She’s really grown…

I was beyond impressed by their fantastic performance. Hats off to all of you!

After the concert, we came to her class where the kids did presentations on their countries.

Other parents brought in their traditional food…except for me.

Chloe did an awesome job representing France. 🙂

Chloe’s room has a pretty view of the backyard. Our magnolia tree started blooming just in time for our return.
