favorite day of the week – tuesday
Tuesday, March 3rd, 2015On Tuesdays, Chloe gets picked up by her friend’s mom from school at 2:30pm. Chloe gets to go to her house, gets her homework done, plays, and eats dinner there. And the mom used to be a professional chef and Chloe always raves about how good her dinner was. Today her mom also packed chloe some cupcakes with different color icing piping bags so she can decorate them when she gets home. I mean… T.G. you’re amazing! We’re so lucky to know you!

Monday, February 2nd, 2015To me, the best gift my family can get for my birthday is their thoughtful cards. And today, I’m on cloud nine because of what they gave me. Feeling so loved and blessed…
Chloe wrote 40 things about me in her notebook and gave it to me with her card:
This is AMAZING. I cried and I laughed… Thank you my dearest daughter Chloe. You are AMAZING.
Andrew also left me a card with kids to give it to me today. 🙂
Thank you God for loving me so much and blessing me with a beautiful family….

Sunday, February 1st, 2015family that paints together
Sunday, January 18th, 2015It’s an icy cold weather outside and we’re making the most out of this weekend by staying warm inside and doing some painting. Chloe and I are recovering from nasty cold/viruses/infections and it was nice to do something productive and relaxing. We talked, we laughed, we hugged, we praised God… what a nice bonding time we had!

shane’s room
Thursday, January 15th, 2015Thanks to our friend Danny & husband, we finally painted Shane’s room last weekend. It wasn’t an easy task as he has such a high ceiling that required an extension ladder to reach the top.
This wall will display Shane’s art work + some of my paintings which I’m working on.
Purchased this papier-mâché stag head from here.
To be continued…
friend’s birthday party
Saturday, January 10th, 2015getting ready to ring in the new year
Wednesday, December 31st, 2014For our annual photo-shoots backdrop.
We literally decide to host this year’s New Years party during our ski trip and we returned yesterday. As soon as I woke up this morning, I went through everything in my craft/decorations closets and pull these out.
Since we had less than 24 hrs to prepare, we went 90% store bought for the food and I made 1 star dish,
Seared petite lamb chops with rosemary balsamic reduction
Plus, I can also rely on my friends to bring food. 🙂
