OH THE PLACES WE GO

Sunday, August 7th, 2022

Vacation or not, I’m up and out by 7 am to go walk with this guy before it gets too hot for Miles. Because of him, I got to enjoy walking around the area and found great views!

CLAREMONT, NH

Saturday, August 6th, 2022

We settled in at The Common Man’s Inn in Claremont, NH for the night. What an interesting industrial little town. We’re mainly staying just to sleep tonight and do Shane’s laundry. ;P. We’ll be on the road for the next several days to do college tours.

LAKE GEORGE

Saturday, August 6th, 2022

It felt sooooo good to have Shane back!!! Honestly, the last few days I was getting really antsy, nervous and just missed him so so much. Now we are together again!
It seems like he had a great experience at Deerfoot Camp! Very rustic and rougher than what we expected with no running toilets and shower and all, but he had fun, made friends, learned how to build fire by hand, enjoyed fishing for the first time, and winning a lot of awards to name a few! But most importantly he said he felt the Holy Spirit in his heart when he was praising and that’s all I needed to hear. Thank you God for answering my prayers!!

ROAD TRIP!

Shane! We are on our way to pick you up!!!

HOME OFFICE/MAN CAVE PROJECT

Thursday, August 4th, 2022

Andrew never cared about how his office/mancave looked until he was using it all the time during pandemic and started doing a lot of zoom meetings. So when he asked me to update his cave, I gladly did it. My only set back is the couch… we couldn’t fit the long three cushion leather couch through his narrow staircase so we settled on my other small loveseat. Hmmm. need to figure out something else but for now, I would say it’s 90% done.
